- Excluded Services
- The following services are excluded and additional charges may apply:
- more than one change in instructions, for example, changing executors, beneficiaries or specific gifts; and
- meeting you outside of our place of work, for example a home visit;
- if more than one meeting is required;
- amendments to your will once approved.
- Any Excluded Services or additional services will be charged at our hourly rate as set out in paragraph 8 on Page 10 of our Terms of Business attached to our Engagement Terms, unless agreed otherwise.
- Timescales
- Typically, from the date on which we are instructed, you should allow a period of at least 3 to 14 working days to complete your will.
- Some factors that may have an impact on the timescales:
- Delay on your part in providing us with instruction or making payment on account or arranging a meeting.
- Aborted Transactions
- If you instruct us in respect of your will most of the work is carried out at the start so if you do not wish to continue with completing your will:
- you will not be entitled to a refund on any fees paid in respect of our services and those fees will be payable in full;
- any disbursement payable will be payable in full once we have paid or committed to pay but will be refunded to you if paid in advance and you instruct us not to proceed before we pay or commit to pay those fees.
